In this book we find a dog that spent four lives trying to find a purpose, each life is different from the previous one. 
The first is in a kennel, it is about surviving the obstacles and learning from them, in this life is called Toby. 
The second is the most important, because in this, the dog finds its most important owner and who loves more and which would be the one that would mark it for all their lives, as they went through many adventures together that are unforgettable for both ; He is called Ethan and he Bailey is this life.
The third is about saving lives, and learning more things, in this life is a female and is called Elleya.
The fourth is to find his boy again, but he is no longer a young man, he is an old man, in this life he is called Bear and then Boy. In the end, his mission was to love his boy, to meet him again and stay until the last breath of him.
